Sub-luxation definition

Chiropractors believe that most of the back pains experienced by people are are caused by subluxations.  A sub-luxation differs from a luxation in that it refers to the partially dislocated joint. This dislocation affects the spinal nerves, and using a high velocity thrust restores normal functioning of the joints. This method is also known as adjustment or manipulation. It restores the normal mobility of the spine, and alleviates back pain and stiffness.
